Korean-American violinist named concertmaster available on Hamburg Philharmonic

String ensemble Sejong Soloists announced Wednesday that Cho had been selected as the concertmaster of the orchestra through an esse attended by the orchestra members only and conductor Kent Nagano.
The type of orchestra based in Hamburg, The munich area was founded in 1828. Nagano has been leading the orchestra as its chief conductor since then September 2015. The National conductor is also the general popular music director of the Hamburg Local Opera.
Cho was part of the Sejong Soloists’ academy program sometime later it was became the orchestra’s youngest member. He had his debut recital at the age of 16 about Carnegie Hall in Ny and made his European first appearance at the Louvre Museum living in Paris.
He or studied at the Juilliard University or college under violinists Kang Hyo and David Chen. Using 2017, he moved to Deutschland and earned his master’s degree at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in the Berlin, studying under Kolja Blacher.
Cho will join a new orchestra starting with the 2021-22 season. A lifetime tenure are likely to be decided after a year and a half.
