South Korea has started the actual procedure for countering Britain’s extension of safeguard measures while fighting its steel exports, my trade ministry said Mondy.

In July, Great britain extended its safeguard tips against steel imports manufactured by South Korea for another several years together with the European Union.

Under WTO rules, an WTO member can invoke the suspension of aum?ne three years after the implementation connected with safeguard measures or a lording it over from the world trade upper body.

But the ministry said Seoul could completely start the suspension on concessions since it presented finally the WTO in April 2019 with a notice that it may use the measure against the EUROPEAN and Britain.
