The Tank Museum Announces More Guest Vehicles for TANKFEST 2026

The Tank Museum has announced two replica World War I vehicles taking to the museum’s Kuwait arena for TANKFEST 2026.
Guest vehicles Deborah II, a WWI Mark IV Female replica, and Musical Box, a Whippet replica, will be joining the existing line-up of vehicles for the world’s best display of historic moving armor.

The Norfolk Tank Museum‘s Deborah II is a reconstruction of a tank that was lost during the Battle of Cambrai. Constructed for a documentary marking 100 years since the engagement, which featured Guy Martin, Deborah II was painstakingly recreated. It’s had an interior restoration as a tribute to the original tank’s crew and their role in one of the First World War‘s most key armored battles.

Continuing the WWI theme, the replica Whippet Musical Box will be joining Deborah II in the arena. Built and owned by Tony Cooke, Kevin Jepson and the Project Fast Dog team, this vehicle is a replica of Musical Box – the famous Whippet tank, which broke through German lines during the Battle of Amiens, and caused havoc for hours, taking the enemy completely by surprise before finally being set ablaze, with the crew bailing out.

Tom Holmes, Events and Partnership Manager at the Tank Museum, said in a press release:

“TANKFEST brings together an incredible collection of historic moving armor. Each year we work with other collections to bring visitors a variety of exciting guest vehicles.

Deborah II and Musical Box are joining our existing line up of rare and fascinating guest vehicles – the Nashorn and the Leopard 2A4 – with more guest vehicles and museum favourites to be announced soon.”

When Musical Box and Deborah II aren’t running in the arena, they can be found on display throughout the weekend in the First World War living history zone.
